Pirates Sign Doumit to New Contract

Its a 3 year contract with a club option after 2011 for 2 more seasons, and most of the millions in the deal are in those back 2 years.  So, I would assume that Ryan Doumit will be traded July of 2011 to whoever needs a power hitting catcher/1st baseman at that time.
