Bowling Green Opens Clawson Era With Win

31-14 was the final score over Troy at Doyt Perry Stadium.  I cannot offer insight, only being familiar with the game by following the 2nd half on espn.com’s Gamecast thingy.  BG was down 14-7 at halftime before scoring the game’s final 24 points, 17 in the 4th quarter, including a pick six to ice it.  Obviously a promising start.  With no gimme wins in non-conference play (the following 3 Saturdays being at Missouri, at Marshall, and hosting Boise) I will certainly accept this win.  Forward Falcons!

BG looked solid in the second half, nice W to start the year.
