PenCap Going 7

Seems only fitting as even as this series has been throughout that it would go the full 7 games.  But still annoying.  Oh well.

Pens had a 3-2 lead early in the 3rd period but the Capitals got two goals within 30 seconds of each other early in the period to take the lead.  But Crosby responded with about 5 minutes remaining to get the game tied.  Looking back the Pens are going to regret failing to score on a lengthy 5-on-3 late in the 1st period that could’ve given them a 2 goal lead, and also not scoring at the end of regulation on a power play.  But it was not for a lack of effort; that damned Varlamov played his guts out again for Washington.  Like I said, oh well, try to win Game 7 Wednesday night in Washington.  For Pittsburgh area fans it’ll be shown locally on FSN Pittsburgh again, win or lose their last telecast of the season as the Conference and Stanley Cup Finals are exclusive on Versus and NBC.  Hopefully Gonchar can be available for the Pens.
