For the Record

I haven’t forgot about the Minnesota Senate race between incumbent Republican Norm Coleman and Democratic challenger Al Franken.  They’re still trying to figure out who won:

I don’t really think there is a way the Senate can/should get involved while they are still sorting thru counting and legal challenges.  If something really shady happened they could refuse to seat the declared winner, but other than that I think we all just have to wait for the process to play out.  Frankly at this point I think we should just declare a tie and let each man serve 3 of the 6 years of the term.  But I doubt there is any legal mechanism to allow that.
