In case you were living in a cave the past 18 hours, I was right. Obama’s running mate will be Delaware Senator Joe Biden. I think its a very solid choice. He should, to the extent any running mate can, help Obama connect with working class white voters, ie, those “bitter” people. More concretely, Biden shores up to major areas of opportunity for Obama. He has loads of experience, and he has foreign policy experience. While Buckeyenewshawk continues to feel that Ohio Governor Ted Strickland would’ve been the single best option for Barack Obama, he feels Joe Biden is an excellent match and the Obama-Biden ticket should receive full-throated support from the American people.
