The line I can’t help but latch onto here, one I had not heard until reading this, was that Dutrow stopped giving Big Brown Winstrol in May; he decided it wasn’t needed anymore. I am not an expert on how horse juicing goes and maybe I am way off base here, but what if Big Brown crapped out at the Belmont because the Winstrol enhancement had worn off and made him more, well, ordinary?
